Mike Munro joined the front row of The Co in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience as the former Principal Cornet of Kirkintilloch Kelvin Brass.
Hailing from Stranraer, Mike’s musical journey began at the age of 10 under the mentorship of Hugh Uriarte. While he went on to pursue a degree in music at university, his career ultimately led him into the field of IT. Despite this professional direction, music has always been a cornerstone of Mike’s life, providing him with immense joy and creative fulfillment.

Throughout his musical career, Mike has performed with renowned ensembles including Stranraer Brass, Annan Town Band, NYBBS, Dalmellington Band, and Kirkintilloch Kelvin Brass. Now, as a member of The Co, he embraces the challenges, artistry, and camaraderie that come with being part of such an inspiring group.
