Callum Anderson is one of the band’s newest members, bringing with him a wealth of experience from both the UK and Scottish brass band scenes.

Originally from Innerleithen, Callum studied in Manchester, where he performed with leading ensembles including Black Dyke Band and Leyland Band. During this time, he developed his musicianship at the highest level, gaining valuable contesting and performance experience.

Since returning to Scotland, Callum has continued to be an active and respected player, with periods at Whitburn Band, Kingdom Brass, and St Ronan’s Band.

A long-time friend of the band, Callum supported the group throughout 2025 before officially joining. He made his debut as a full member at the World Music Contest, marking an exciting new chapter for both himself and the band.
