Ash began her brass banding journey with Brass Sounds Inverclyde, where her talent and commitment quickly became evident. Since then, she has built an impressive and rapidly developing banding CV, establishing herself as one of the most promising young cornet players in Scotland today.

Most recently, Ash served as Principal Cornet and Assistant Musical Director with Renfrew Burgh Band, demonstrating not only outstanding musical ability but also strong leadership and musical direction within the bandroom. She currently holds the position of Principal Cornet with Riverside Youth Band and is also Principal Cornet of the National Youth Brass Bands of Scotland, performing at the highest level of youth banding in the country.

Away from the bandroom, Ash is a sixth-year student at Park Mains High School, balancing her academic studies alongside an exceptionally demanding musical schedule. Her dedication, discipline, and passion for music continue to drive her progress both as a performer and as a young leader within the brass band movement.

Ash is taught by Lynda Nicholson and is deeply grateful for her guidance, encouragement, and ongoing support, which have played a significant role in her musical development.
