We need your support to represent Scotland at The World Music Contest 2026

The Cooperation Band has a rich musical history spanning over 100 years and in terms of competition, is the most successful at a “Championship” level in Scotland, most recently achieving 5th place at the European Brass Band Championships and winning the Brass in Concert title.

The band has the honour of being invited to represent Scotland at the World Music Contest taking place in Kerkrade, Netherlands on the 11/12th July 2026. This event brings together premier brass bands from across the world, performing to display the highest levels of musicality and technicality.

Beyond the competition itself, the event offers a wealth of opportunities, including cultural exchange, networking with fellow musicians and attendees, performances from ensembles from across the globe, and significant musical and personal development possibilities.

With essential costs of over £35,000 to attend the event, we are most grateful for your support in helping the band represent Glasgow and Scotland on the extraordinary international stage of the World Music Contest.
