Calling All Percussion Players!

the cooperation band is proud to announce the launch of The Co Percussion Ensemble.

This exciting new project is made possible thanks to generous funding from the Pear Tree Trust and support from Adams Percussion

The ensemble will be led by our very own Paula O’Malley.

Paula studied percussion at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she was a two-time winner of the Southern Percussion Award, before completing her MPerf (Distinction) in percussion at the Royal College of Music.

She is now a highly respected freelance percussionist, performing with leading orchestras including the Hallé Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and Scottish Opera.

In addition to her orchestral career, Paula has extensive tutoring experience and has worked closely with the Band of the Scots Guards, supporting the development of elite military percussionists. Alongside this, she is a passionate educator, teaching percussion in schools across Scotland and inspiring the next generation of players.

• Open to all ages and abilities
• Welcoming percussionists from across Scotland
• Rehearsals held once a month
• All rehearsals start at 17:00
• Venue: Princes House, West Campbell Street
• The ensemble will benefit from using our brand new Adams Percussion instruments, providing access to high-quality, professional-standard percussion equipment
