We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Ash Paton to the cooperation Band!
Ash began her brass banding journey with Brass Sounds Inverclyde and has already built an impressive banding CV.
Most recently, Ash served as Principal Cornet and Assistant Musical Director with Renfrew Burgh Band, is Principal Cornet of Riverside Youth Band, and also Principal Cornet of the The National Youth Brass Bands of Scotland.
Away from the bandroom, Ash is currently a 6th-year student at Park Mains High School.
Ash is also taught by Lynda Nicholson and is grateful for all the support.
Ash is no stranger to the Co either — having performed with us at Brass in Concert 2024, where she was awarded the Youngest Player Award, a fantastic achievement and also Ash has shared as her banding highlight so far!
