The Cooperation Band Announces Partnership with Adams Percussion

The Cooperation Band is proud to announce a new partnership with Adams Percussion, following a season of strong performances at both The British Open and the European Brass Band Championships.

On Friday, the band received a brand-new set of Adams percussion instruments, supplied by Graham Johns Percussion in Liverpool, the exclusive UK distributor for Adams. This exciting addition further enhances the band’s musical resources.

Paula O’Malley, percussionist with The Cooperation Band, shared her enthusiasm:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Adams Percussion! Their instruments are truly world-class and it’s an honour to bring that level of quality to our performances. I can’t wait to see where this collaboration takes us – hopefully for many years to come!”

Ruud Corstjens of Adams Musical Instruments added:
“I am very grateful we could establish this partnership with the incredible Cooperation Band. The band has a great percussion section, so it’s an honour to deliver our instruments to Glasgow. With a product range from entry-level to high-end, we have the flexibility to serve brass bands of all levels.”

Based in the Netherlands, Adams Musical Instruments is internationally recognised for its exceptional craftsmanship. Their timpani, mallet instruments, and bass drums are trusted by leading orchestras, ensembles, and conservatoires worldwide. This collaboration with The Cooperation Band highlights Adams’ commitment to supporting the very best in brass banding, while continuing their tradition of excellence across the wider musical world.
