World Premiere: At the heart of the programme is Antiphonary, a stunning new work by acclaimed composer Liz Lane. Written especially for this ensemble, this evocative piece blends ancient musical forms with bold contemporary textures—rich in colour, atmosphere, and emotion.
The genre-spanning programme also includes:
Jazz-infused arrangements of Stephen Sondheim, Louis Prima, and Duke Ellington
Classical favourites and original brass works
A breathtaking finale: Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky, in a monumental arrangement for brass
This is brass playing at its most brilliant—virtuosic, characterful, and deeply entertaining. Whether you’re a devoted brass fan or a curious newcomer, this concert promises an unforgettable Fringe experience.
